About FORM

The Fashion Organization of Retail and Marketing is the only pre-professional, fashion-oriented organization at Rutgers University. FORM strives to unite Rutgers students with an interest in the fashion industry, and provide educational and networking opportunities to create pipelines into fashion-related careers. Through speaking panels and workshops with industry professionals, students can collaborate ideas and foster a fashion-oriented community through interactive activities.

Our organization stems from 2 Rutgers Alum who were interested in working in the fashion industry & wanted to create a space on campus where they could connect with professionals and learn how to break into the fashion industry.

We host a Fashion Fair every fall semester, the one-and-only retail industry-specific networking event at Rutgers. This is our biggest professional event of the year, giving students the exclusive opportunity to connect with industry professionals from a wide range of renowned brands within the fashion industry.

In the Spring semester, we host Rutgers Fashion Week, which comprises of panel discussions ranging from topics on diversity and inclusion to sustainability in the fashion industry, company information sessions, pop-up thrift stores-just to name a few! We conclude each year with a student-run fashion show that features designers from both the New Brunswick and greater NYC community.
